Clay Achin'

Last night I saw that Wallace and Gromit movie. I highly recommend this film, this motion picture, if you will. It was surprisingly funny. The flick starts out as a brilliantly framed cartoon in the vein of Looney Tunes, but quickly escalates to the level of near-Pythonesque absurdity by its extremely satisfying conclusion. It's easily the second-best movie I've seen all year (after Howl's Moving Castle) thanks to the adult sensibilities of some of the gags, especially the ridiculous visual puns and pokes at the Church of England. This is Eddie Izzard quality, folks. And I don't toss the Izzman around lightly.

I still haven't seen Corpse Bride yet, which is disappointing. I'm crying on the inside.
